CBW Munitions Identification Tool

This tool is designed to assist the user in the identification of chemical or biological munitions via an analysis of available information. Specific types of data within the following broad categories are considered:

• Delivery System
• Type of Munition
• Nomenclature and Markings
• Physical Characteristics
• Filler
• Fuzing
• Dissemination Technique

The available information is processed with a proprietary algorithm and then compared to a data set, which contains detailed information on more than 1300 U.S. and foreign chemical and biological munitions. The Chemical and Biological Munitions Identification Tool is incorporated in the CABO-MX, CABO-LE and CABO-ES databases.
